Road to 1000 Subscribers
I am glad to share that this substack has reached the milestone of 1000 subscribers, and the reason is you, dear readers. Thank You š.
My writing journey on this platform started six months back in April 2024. So, What is this Substack all about? What is the force behind writing?
This substack is about learning and compounding knowledge, i.e., adopting the mindset of Life Long Learning
One of my core beliefs is in the power of compounding. By compounding, it is not only money or wealth (although it is important to achieve FI), but it is imperative to compound knowledge. Writing helps in two ways:
(1) It helps understand the gaps in your thinking because when you have to write, you have to write so that the reader easily understands it.
(2) It is a way of giving back to society and interacting with people from different spheres of life, which brings in a fresh perspective.Mental Model: The Flywheel Effect

In late 2020 / Early 2021, studying platform businesses in the Technofunda Community, I came across the concept of the Flywheel Effect.
What is a flywheel? Although the concept is borrowed from science in personal growth, it can be defined as an accumulation of small wins that create momentum over time, which becomes self-sustaining.
The inertia is high initially, so the initial input per unit of output is high. As the flywheel starts gaining momentum, the input required for incremental output decreases.

Well, it's time to add one more layer to this flywheel, i.e., writing, which I am sure will accelerate my learning and understanding.Looking back, Iāve tried to articulate different ideas, especially the Energy Transition theme, Stock Analysis, Technical Analysis, and Personal Finance, and learnings from reading.
Keeping this mental model in mindā¦ I hope to keep learning continuously and share what I learn via this substack adding value to my readers.
